Dichotomy – (noun) a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different.

I don’t think there’s a more apt term to use when describing the latest product fresh off of the New Wave Academy production line. On July 14th Louise Hiller was graduating from university, having successfully gained a first class degree in Applied Social Science; on July 23rd she was beating the brakes off of Meagan O’Loughlin to win the interim BCMMA amateur women’s bantamweight title; then went straight to the airport, flew to Bulgaria and competed for the SFC title against Anita Doganova only seven days later, dropping a contentious decision loss to the hometown fighter having had her arm break in the second and elbow dislocated in the third from landing punches. Yet somehow, she continued until the bell. An eventful month by anyone’s standards.
