As if Dayman Lake Vs Kerone Davis in a K1 match up wasn’t big enough, Lion Fighting Championship promoter Leo Alderman is still matching up the big kids, his latest addition to the card being 6ft 5″ Luke Trainer, in a battle with another tall drink of water, Mathew Nicholson. Let’s just hope the LFC cage has been modified with a few reinforcement safety measures.
Luke Trainer is an imposing figure with a nasty submission game, his dismantling of Piotr Pruszak and arm-triangle choke after just 48 seconds of the first round really turned a few heads for the Team Titan fighter. Towering over his opponents at 6ft 5″ he has a number of genetic advantages mid combat, reach being an obvious one.
His opponent Mathew Nicholson has proven to be a well rounded fighter, with TKO’s and a submission, the Hornets Gym fighter will be looking to make an impact after a year and a half out of competition.
With the inclusion of these light-heavyweights, previously announced Martin Hudson Vs. Alfie Davis and of course Godzilla Vs. The Monster, Lion Fighting Championship has set itself up for an explosive evening of action on March 12th down in The Casino Rooms in Rochester Kent.
