Davis out of Lake fight, replacement found

Sadly the highly anticipated K1 heavyweight bout between Kerone “The Monster” Davis and Dayman “Godzilla” Lake took a blow this morning when Davis was forced to withdraw through injury. But Lion Fighting Championship promoter and match-maker Leo Alderman didn’t rest on his laurels and fantastic replacement has already been sourced.

Dayman Lake

Stepping in to replace Kerone Davis will be 6ft 1″ undefeated prospect David Small, who fights out of Muay Thai Inc in Stevenage. Small has impressed in his career after a perfect 4-0 amateur start, and following this with a 5-0 professional record, will he continue his streak when he faces the man they call Godzilla on March 12th, or will Godzilla replicate the same talent he has done in the past on the MMA circuit?

Questions will be answered at the Casino Rooms in Rochester Kent in just a couple of weeks, when these two huge fighters put it all on the line.

Also on the night a fantastic MMA headline bout between Martin “Mantime” Hudson and and Alfie “Ard” Davis is set to take centre stage in a battle for Lion Fighting welterweight gold.
