Yet more positive news has been released from Budo HQ tonight as they’ve exclusively revealed to Addicted OTR that they’re moving their North West show to a much larger venue.
As of December 16th they’ll be leaving the Holiday Inn, which has been their home for the past three years to inhabit The Forum in Manchester, tripling their capacity. This shows another step forward for one of the UK’s fastest growing and most innovative promotions. Budo CEO Chris Clarke told us;
“The move has been coming for a while. We’ve been at the Bolton venue now for 3 years and continually fill it show on show. At times, it’s been too full. We initially set out to move to Middleton this year but for some reason, I just put it off, I didn’t think it fit right. Now, the move to The Forum is the right move.
The time has come. We wanted to build a brand and solidify the foundations before making any unnecessary leaps and potentially putting the business as a whole in jeopardy. I am really looking forward to working with the venue and the fighters as more capacities allow us to broaden our horizons in terms of international opponents and cross promoting”.
Clarke is certainly blazing a trail. Stick with Addicted OTR for further updates.
