Preview: Golden Ticket Promotions 3


Saturday September 24th sees the return of Wolverhampton’s Golden Ticket Promotions. With this being their third event, you can rightly say that they’ve progressed from ‘fledgling’ status to ‘established’; with a proposed fight card which solidifies that statement. Shinobi War 7: Results

ShinobiShinobi War 7 took place this evening (Saturday April 30) at the Liverpool Olympia in the promotion’s final all-amateur showcase before it introduces professional matchups in July. Jordan Barton found Manny Akpan’s kryptonite in the evening’s main event, smothering his man with clinch wrestling until the opportunity for a fourth-round TKO presented itself.

Shinobi War 7 card update

Shinobi MMAShinobi MMA FC has released several additions to the card for Shinobi War 7 on April 30. Earlier in March, the Liverpool-based promotion announced a title defence for Manny Akpan, who defends his Featherweight belt against Jordan Barton. Akpan (5-0) took home the gold at Shinobi War 5 last year, TKOing BJJ standout Ben Royle. Barton (4-1) is a four-time veteran of the promotion and is unbeaten since losing to Bobby Pallett at Lightweight at Shinobi War 1.

Both men, especially Nazar, came out all guns blazing from the off.
